Your web designer
Hello, I'm Tomasz.
I design and build every Tideline website myself, and I look after it once it's live. You deal with me throughout, and I'm happy to meet in person if you'd like.
Outside Tideline, I work as a software developer here in Limerick. I graduated from the University of Limerick with first-class honours in Computer Systems. See my background on LinkedIn.
I'm based in Rhebogue, on the east side of Limerick, and work with businesses across Limerick and Clare.
Why I do this
Plenty of good local businesses are let down by their website. It's slow on a phone, hard to update, or it was built years ago by someone who's no longer around. I want to fix that for businesses in the place I live.
I build every site from scratch rather than with a drag-and-drop builder like Wix. That makes it faster and more secure, and you're not paying a monthly fee for tools you never use.
The name and the logo
My logo is the round tower on Scattery Island, at the mouth of the Shannon estuary off Kilrush in West Clare. It has stood there beside a church ruin for centuries, which is why I chose it: it says built to last, and that's what I want for every website I make.
The tide line beneath it is my nod to the West Clare coast, which is a big part of my life. It's also a reminder that good work keeps up with change, the way the tide comes and goes twice a day.
